The CO3 project

Participants:
                      BIU, SSSUP, UParis2, WU, ISI.
Objectives:
Formulate and expose the results of our research in formats and terms that are appropriate to a larger public: policy makers, business leaders and general media. The main tools:

• electronic databases, communication and display,
• written materials and publications,
• personal appearances (conferences, events).

Description of work:
The results obtained in each of the WP's will be re-cast in various formats and languages appropriate to the target audience:

• web site, a series of case study reports;
• interactive communication; Video-conferencing;
• internet bioinformatics data base on immune cell clonal data;
• interdisciplinary journal publications outside own specialty;
• articles targeted to business, industry and the public, and possibly a business book;
• participation in dissemination events and workshops;
• presentations at generic and specialized meetings, EU conferences and seminars;
• meeting to disseminate the knowledge accumulated in CO3.

This will require the involvement of work-power with various profiles:

• science-writers,
• computer / software specialists,
• secretarial support.

 
Deliverables:
 

• D6.1 Report describing in plain language the implications of our models on economic and social policy making. Possibly a book. Month 33
• D6.2 Internet database of economic data on companies and simulation output illustrating their significance for policy makers, business leaders and general public. Month 39
• D6.3 Internet Bioinformatics data base on B cell clonal data. The tools will be built so that they can be used by immunologist with no mathematics background. Month 43
• D6.4 Dissemination meeting. Month 46
